To get there
Transportation
The Baltic is on the banks of the River Tyne. You can get to Newcastle upon Tyne by planes, trains or automobiles and it's easy to get to from there.

A paid car parking is available just a short walk from the Baltic, nestled between the Baltic and Jury's Inn Hotel.

If you're coming to the wedding ceremony, you'll need to be seated by 12.15pm so please factor that into your travel plans.
Accommodation
We know a lot of you will have to travel for the wedding and there are loads of hotels to suit every budget.
Walking distance from the venue are the Jury's Inn (Quayside), Ramada Encore and Hilton on the Gateshead side of the River.
On the Newcastle side the Malmaison is closest at the end of the Millennium Bridge, with the Quayside also featuring a Premier Inn, Vermont Hotel an easyHotel and a travelodge all within walking distance.

There are dozens of other hotels, apartments and airbnbs within a mile of the Baltic that range from ££ to £££££. A quick search on booking.com should sort you out, but if you want any advice, give one of us a call.
